Once upon a time, but…
When I was a child, I used to find magic in everything. My definition of it was a wand, a fairy Godmother, and a spell that would make the magic come out.
My dad once told me that magic isn't true. It is just the imagination of the creator of the movie that I was always watching. I asked him, "Why?"
He said, "Magic is not something that you could notice right away."
I didn't believe in magic anymore until you came. You didn't have a magic wand when you cast me a spell to make me fall in love with you.
It was magic how you held my hand, and I felt electric Love-netic force when you pulled me to kiss you. How you turned my nights into days; how you wipe and dry my tears.
I wanted to meet Cinderella and brag that I didn’t need to leave my shoes just to be found by a Prince Charming.
But one time when I was about to meet the one who found me in the dark, lots of questions popped out.
Are you out of pixie dust? Is your wand broken?
Because why am I no longer in your eyes?
Was it still magic when you made me your “once upon a time”, but wasn’t your “happily ever after”?
